The Hawks provided an injury update for forward Jalen Johnson and did not provide a timeline for his return to play.

The team announced he will be listed as out as he undergoes further medical testing and evaluation. His injury and status will be updated as appropriate.

Johnson exited the game against the Raptors early into the second quarter after injuring his left shoulder.

He moved into position to block Raptors’ Scottie Barnes’ attempt at the rim. Johnson swatted Barnes’ layup attempt with his right arm before immediately crumpling to grab his left shoulder.

He never returned to the game.

The Hawks frontcourt has dealt with a series of injuries but listed veteran centers Clint Capela and Larry Nance Jr. as probable for Saturday’s game against the Raptors.
