Bogdan Bogdanovic went down awkwardly while running in transition in the second quarter of Hawks-Hornets Saturday night, and had to be helped back to the locker room.

Bogdanovic was diagnosed with a right knee injury and did not return to the game. The Hawks have had bad injury luck so far this season, and are already without Kris Dunn (right ankle surgery), Danilo Gallinari (right ankle sprain), Onyeka Okongwu (inflammation, sesamoid bone, left foot) and Rajon Rondo (right knee injury maintenance).

It’s not clear at this time what Bogdanovic’s specific injury is, or how severe it is.

Bogdanovic was making his second start of the season. Before exiting, he added five points and one rebound in about 11 minutes of play.
