Kyle Smith and Ryan Pace received new titles from the Falcons, the team announced Wednesday.

CBS Sports first reported the moves Monday.

Smith was named the assistant general manager, and Pace was promoted to director of player personnel. Smith was already serving in the role of second in command to general manager Terry Fontenot. Pace already was working as a senior personnel executive.

The Falcons also made several moves in the scouting department as they moved Shelly Harvey to area scout, Ben Martinez to pro scout, James McClintock to BLESTO scout, Hakeem Smith to assistant pro scout and Joey Galioto to head of equipment operations while naming Brian Zeches as player personnel coordinator, Ryne Nicholson as assistant equipment manager and Josh Peterson as equipment assistant.

Anthony Robinson, who was the director of college scouting for the past four seasons, left the Falcons in May to become the assistant general manager of the Titans. Robinson had been with the team for 16 seasons and worked his way up from area scout.

Brian Boigner, who was the Falcons’ former director of equipment operations for the past 26 years, retired in March, according to his LinkedIn profile.
