Move over Michael Vick.

While the former Falcons quarterback prepares to enter the college coaching ranks, he has been replaced atop one chapter of the NFL history book.

By one yard, the Ravens’ Lamar Jackson now is the NFL’s all-time leading rusher for a quarterback. He rushed for 87 yards in a 31-2 win over the Texans on Wednesday. That gives him 6,110 career rushing yards, one more yard that Vick had over his career.

Jackson finished the game Wednesday with 87 yards on four carries, including the 48-yard touchdown run, the third-longest rush of his career.

“It feels unreal, to be honest with you,” Jackson told reporters. “I’m grateful because that’s a record that’s been there for a long time. Michael Vick is one of my favorite players. That’s just dope.”

Vick held the record for 13 years after he surpassed Randall Cunningham in October 2011. Vick needed 143 games over 13 years for his total. Jackson needed 102 games over seven seasons for the record.

Vick was named the head coach of Norfolk State last week and introduced Monday.

Here is the new list of most rushing yards by a quarterback. Four of the top 10 are still active, including three in the top seven.
