MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Right tackle Kaleb McGary, who’s on the reserve COVID-19 list, will be replaced in the starting lineup by Jason Spriggs, who has not started in an NFL game since 2018.

He will be backed up by guard Colby Gossett, who’s been active for two games this season.

Also, the Falcons will be without outside linebacker Dante Fowler (knee), who was placed on injured reserve. Outside linebacker James Vaughters will be a COVID-19 promotion to the roster,

Cornerback Chris Williamson and linebacker Daren Bates, a veteran special-teams player who signed last week, also were promoted to the roster from the practice squad.

The official inactives for the game include quarterback Feleipe Franks, cornerback Kendall Sheffield, cornerback Avery Williams, linebacker Dorian Etheridge, wide receiver Frank Darby, defensive tackle John Cominsky and defensive tackle Mike Pennel.

The Miami inactives include cornerback Noah Igbinoghene, wide receiver DeVante Parker, offensive lineman Greg Mancz, offensive tackle Greg Little, tight end Hunter Long and defensive tackle John Jenkins.
