The Falcons released linebacker Duke Ejiofor on Wednesday.

Ejiofor, 26, 6-foot-4 and 255 pounds, was on the non-football injury list. He signed a reserve/futures contract Jan. 13.

Ejiofor played at Wake Forest and was a sixth-round pick by the Texans in the 2018 NFL draft. He played 12 games as a rookie with the Texans.
