Falcons promote two practice-squad wide receivers

FLOWERY BRANCH — Wide receiver Chris Blair, who was the top receiver on the practice squad working with quarterback Michael Penix Jr., was promoted to the 53-man active roster Saturday.

Also, wide receiver Dylan Drummond was promoted to the roster for game day from the practice squad. Linebacker Rashaan Evans was released to make room for Blair.

Penix is set to make his first start for the Falcons (7-7) when they face the Giants (2-12) at 1 p.m. Sunday at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
