The Falcons received permission to interview Panthers offensive coordinator Joe Brady, according to the Associated Press.

Brady, who got on the NFL’s radar after a spectacular 2019 season at LSU, also was granted permission to interview with the Chargers and Texans, a person familiar with the situation told AP.

The person spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity Tuesday because the team does not release names of assistant coaches who have been granted permission to speak with other teams.

Brady, 31, has only one season as an NFL coordinator.

The Falcons fired Dan Quinn after losing to Carolina 23-16 on Oct. 11. The Falcons won the rematch 25-17 a few weeks later.

The Panthers finished 21st in the league in offense and 24th in scoring in scoring.

Falcons’ 2021 draft position

1. Jacksonville Jaguars

2. New York Jets

3. Miami Dolphins (via Houston)

4. Falcons

5. Cincinnati Bengals
