ARLINGTON, Texas -- Here are five things to know before the Falcons (4-4) and the Cowboys (6-2) kickoff today at 1 p.m. at AT&T Stadium.

1. Gregory out. Dallas defensive end Randy Gregory suffered an injury Wednesday and is out. He’s tied for the team lead with five sacks.

2. Series record: This will be the 28th regular-season meeting between the Cowboys and the Falcons. The Cowboys lead the series 16-11.

The Cowboys have won the past two meetings, including last season’s 40-39 victory over the Falcons on Sept. 20. The Falcons blew a 26-7 lead and did not recover an onside kick that would have secured the victory.
