FLORHAM PARK, N.J. – Here are 10 quick takes from the Falcons’ joint practice with the Jets on Friday:

1. Offensive line: The offensive line held up in their one-on-one drills against the Jets. Two fights broke out, but nothing major.

2. Third fight: After the third fight – Falcons offense versus Jets defense -- the coaches stopped the practice and lost half of a period. Falcons coach Arthur Smith talked to the Jets. Things settled down, and there were no more disruptions.

3. Brinkley sighting: Falcons long snapper Beau Brinkley, who’s on injured reserve, made the trip. He’s working his way back from a rupture Achilles.

4. Flacco torches defense: The Falcons’ defense was torched by Jets veteran quarterback Joe Flacco. He led them on an 8-play, 65-yard touchdown drive. Wide receiver Elijah Moore was wide open for a 42-yard play.

5. Hall is fast: The general consensus was that the Falcons’ defense had a bad day. Jets rookie running back Breece Hall broke loose for a 75-yard touchdown run, which is hard to do in a scrimmage.

8. Alford making a move: For the second practice in a row, Alford worked out at a nickel back with the first-team defense.

9. Ridder pick nullified: Falcons quarterback Desmond Ridder was picked off by Jets corner Sauce Gardner, but the play was nullified by a penalty. Ridder was throwing to Franks. Ridder and Gardner were teammates at Cincinnati.

10. Center competition: Drew Dalman worked with the first-team offense and Matt Hennessy with the second-team.
