Former Braves shortstop Dansby Swanson has agreed to a seven-year deal to join the Chicago Cubs as a free agent.

The Atlanta Braves offering Dansby Swanson six years (at $16-17M AAV) while these other shortstops are getting 13-year deals into their forties is yet another reminder that the Braves aren't complete idiots while everyone is.
