It remains to be seen when fans will flood Truist Park again, but the noted background sound when the opposition walks into the batter’s box will be audible.

Matthew Kaminski, the long-time Braves organist, announced on Twitter that he’ll return for his 13th season. Kaminski is known nationally for the clever walk-up music he plays when opposing hitters step up to the plate. He picks the songs as a play on each individual’s name or status (such as playing “Movin’ Out (Anthony’s Song)” by Billy Joel before Anthony Rendon hit or playing John Williams’ “The Imperial March” when Bryce Harper steps up).

The Braves’ home opener is scheduled for April 9 against the Phillies. The team opens the season on a six-game trip in Philadelphia and Washington beginning April 1. The season currently is expected to start on time.
