Allianace MMA, Inc. announced on Wednesday morning that it acquired National Fighting Championship (NFC)— the ninth promotion operated under Alliance MMA and producer of MMA events in Georgia and South Carolina.

Alliance MMA currently produces regional events in New Jersey, Washington, Illinois, Tennessee, Maryland, Ohio, Florida and San Diego, Calif.

“We are thrilled to add NFC to our list of regional promotions across the country under the Alliance MMA umbrella,” President of Alliance MMA Robert Haydak said. “NFC’s values and goals to provide the finest MMA experience for fighters and fans made them an ideal fit for us. Together, we will continue to expand mixed martial arts throughout Georgia and will develop more local fighters into the next generation of champions.”

Although under Alliance MMA, NFC plans to continue to expand in Georgia and South Carolina.

NFC most recently put on regional MMA events at Center Stage in Atlanta, Infinite Energy Arena in Duluth, Electric Cowboy in Kennesaw and the TD Convention Center in Greenville, SC.
