Touring comedian, health advocate and social media influencer Nurse Blake has teamed up with Gales Shoes to launch a limited edition shoe collection that will benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The lightweight, slip-resistant and antimicrobial footwear, called Nurse Blake x Gales ProLine collection, is designed specifically with nurses in mind. The shoes are “designed to reduce fatigue from long shifts on your feet” and are priced at $119.95. A portion of the proceeds from collaboration will be donated to the charity.
The shoes are offered in a number of colors, including Nurse Blake teal/pink and Nurse Blake black/pink.
“We built Gales with care and kindness to give back to our community, so when we got to know Nurse Blake as the kind, generous person he is, the stars felt aligned,” Rob Gregg, founder and CEO of Gales, said in a press release. “Our collaboration, designed for all-day comfort with a Nurse Blake twist, marks a new step in comfort innovation for nurses, with the incredible outcome of helping make a difference in children’s lives.”
Nurse Blake graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2014 with a bachelor of science in nursing. From there, the highly popular social media savant began crafting Facebook videos that quickly went viral — especially with fellow nurses.
“I’m thrilled to announce my first-ever shoe collection co-developed with Gales,” Nurse Blake said in a press release. “I worked side-by-side with their team to create the collection and we’re thrilled to not only treat your feet to cloudlike comfort but also make a difference.”
Nurse Blake now performs comedy across the world, while also hosting NurseCon at Sea each year.
