Studies show that participating in Dry January can lead to better sleep, improved energy levels, clearer skin and lasting changes in drinking habits.

“Explore your options — you don’t need to stick to just simple drinks, like water, tea, and coffee. Booze-free drinking can be enjoyable, and even exciting!” Jackie Newgent, nutritionist and author of “The Plant-Based Diabetes Cookbook,” told Prevention.

Here’s where to find some of Atlanta’s creative zero-proof cocktails, whether you’re participating in Dry January, living an alcohol-free lifestyle or simply taking a night off:

Aria

This fine dining establishment’s alcohol-free options include its Lemon Zinger, featuring muddled lemon, honey and ginger with bitters; and the Gully Washer, a blend of nonalcoholic gin with lime and yuzu (a citrus fruit).

Flight Club Atlanta

This social gaming venue adds flair to its zero-proof offerings with the Midway Splash, a combination of Seedlip Grove 42 (a citrus blend of Mediterranean orange and lemon peel), pineapple, and lemon tonic, perfect for sipping while enjoying its high-tech darts experience.

Kitty Dare
