Former President Donald Trump is returning to the White House after securing a victory over Vice President Kamala Harris. The Associated Press declared him the winner early Wednesday.
Trump also won the swing state of Georgia – and its 16 electoral votes. The Associated Press declared him the winner at 12:58 a.m. EST.
More than 5.2 million people voted in the general election. This broke the state’s previous record of 5 million voters in the 2020 general election.
