Jason Carter, former president Jimmy Carter’s grandson, told the Monica Pearson Show that his grandfather was in the final stages of his life. That got me to thinking about Jimmy Carter’s innate goodness in contrast with former president Donald Trump. I thought this drawing was a simple way to show the difference between these two men.

He was a Pulitzer finalist in 1986. Mike joined The Atlanta Constitution staff in 1989, and he rarely cleans his office.
