Within the last several days, folks have been recording themselves kicking the tops off bottles of various liquids without the beverage falling over.

It reportedly began when Farabi Davletchin, a Kazakh Taekwondo champion, performed the trick and dared a few of his buddies, including actor Jason Statham, to do it, too.

Pretty soon, other celebrities were joining in on the fun. John Mayer, Diplo, and Whitney Cummings all uploaded videos, using the hashtag #bottlecapchallenge.

Some people who gave it shot didn’t successfully remove the bottle cap but posted their efforts anyway.

And few folks got creative, using alternative methods to send the bottle caps flying.
