R. Kelly was released from a Chicago jail Saturday after someone paid the $161,000 he owed in back child support.

He was placed into custody by a judge Wednesday, because he could not pay the full amount. He was prepared to pay only $50,000 to $60,000.

It is unknown who made the full payment, according to The Associated Press.

This was the second time the singer had been jailed within the last few weeks.

On Feb. 22, he was jailed and charged with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. He was released on $100,000 bond after spending three nights in a Chicago jail. A female acquaintance bailed him out.

Kelly has adamantly denied all sexual assault allegations against him. Earlier this week, he continued to proclaim him innocence to Gayle King during an emotional appearance on “CBS This Morning.”

“Stop it. Y’all quit playing. I didn’t do this stuff. It’s not me. I’m fighting for my [expletive] life,” he said during the interview. “Y’all are killing me with this [expletive]. I gave y’all 30 years of my [expletive] career. I’m trying to have a relationship with my kids. Y’all don’t want to believe the truth.”
