Gildshire magazine, a travel and nature site, recently released its "Coolest Aquariums Around the World" list. There were five spots across the globe that made the cut, and the Georgia Aquarium was one of them.

It's the largest aquarium in the western world and features tons of sea animals, from beluga whales to dolphins to sharks and manta rays. The site specifically praised the Ocean Voyager exhibit, which contains more than 6 million gallons of water. It also noted the attraction plans to open an expansion by 2020.

The writers also highlighted Shanghai Ocean Aquarium in China, the Churaumi Aquarium in Japan, the S.E.A. Aquarium in Singapore and the Oceanografic in Spain.
