A woman who admitted to her role in a fatal hit-and-run has been sentenced to two years in prison.

Tabitha Paige, 19, was sentenced by a Douglas County judge to five years, with two to serve and three on probation, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Paige hit Gary Latimer on Sept. 14 on Sunset Drive and Fairburn Road, moments after he posted bond on a public intoxication charge. Paige, who admitted hitting Latimer in court, left the scene and hid her car in Alabama, according to Channel 2. Latimer died three days later from his injuries.

Paige and her brothers, Brian Ross Paige and Travis Wayne Paige, were all arrested in connection with the hit-and-run. Police said the Paige brothers helped their sister hide her car. Both men face charges of tampering with evidence.
