Winter Storm Kade impacts flights across West

The warm weather experienced the last few days in the South is due to a front ahead of Winter Storm Kade. This wintry weather system has impacted flights as it covers parts of the West and Midwest in ice and snow.

As of Tuesday, Winter Storm Kade had blanketed Salt Lake City in a foot of snow. Denver has seen between 2 inches to 5 inches, an amount large enough to cancel 176 flights and cause upward of 600 delays Monday at Denver International Airport, according to USAToday.
Airlines are rescheduling or giving waivers for flights in Colorado, Utah, Texas and Oklahoma, with more to be added to the list as Kade moves east this week.
