All Delta Air Lines flights from Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport are scheduled to depart on time Thursday morning after technical issues impacted operations for several hours Wednesday night.

The glitch, which affected some of Delta’s applications, hampered customers’ ability to book flights, check in and board.

Delta spokeswoman Ashley Black said the issue was fixed Wednesday and no flights were canceled, but passengers were still experiencing longer-than-usual waits through the evening.

“We expect flight delays to extend into the evening at some of our busiest domestic hubs due to this issue and weather,” she said. “We apologize to our customers for the inconvenience they are experiencing as we work quickly to return our operations to normal.”

According to Channel 2 Action News, Delta was waiving fees for affected customers who needed to change their flights.

Some passengers took to Twitter on Wednesday evening to complain about the delays.

While technical issues may no longer impact departures, severe weather might. A line of strong to severe thunderstorms is moving across northwest Georgia on Thursday morning and is expected to impact metro Atlanta between 7 and 8 a.m., according to Channel 2 Action News.
