Traffic is moving again after a dump truck overturned on the Downtown Connector, blocking several lanes of traffic for about an hour.

The truck overturned under an overpass in the northbound lanes near the 17th Street exit in Midtown about 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center reported.

Traffic was forced to squeeze by in just one lane, causing backups to I-20.

The overturned truck was cleared about 1:30 p.m., but heavy delays remain, according to the Traffic Center.
