UPDATE: 1 killed in I-20 crash in Douglas County

One person was killed in a single-car crash that led to major backups on eastbound I-20 in Douglas County just as the Tuesday morning rush got underway, authorities said.
Few details, including the name of the person killed, were released.
Georgia State Patrol Capt. Mark Perry said a trooper was at a local hospital to break the news to the victim’s family.
The accident occurred about 5:10 a.m., and was still causing delays more than an hour and a half later, said Mark Arum, a traffic reporter for the WSB 24-hour Traffic Center.
