Clayton County Sheriff Victor Hill won't provide more info to authorities after they say he shot and critically injured a woman Sunday night in a Lawrenceville-area model home. “He refused to cooperate and give any statement,” a Gwinnett police sargeant said. [Read more]

The family of Alexia Christian is speaking out after she was shot and killed last week while, Atlanta police said, firing at officers from the back of a patrol car. "She didn’t even weigh 100 pounds. The Atlanta police chief said it doesn't appear Christian was ever searched after being taken into custody before the fatal shooting. She had previously escaped handcuffs, the chief said. But her aunt said Christian had so much to lose, including her kids: "Something's not right." [Read more]

Christian had a long arrest record and spent three and a half years in prison after she got into the driver's seat of a patrol car and drove off, dragging an officer with her. The officer was thrown from the car. [Read more]
