The WWE network announced that Simone Johnson, 18, has begun training to be a wrestling superstar just like her dad Dwayne "The Rock"Johnson, grandfather Rocky "Soul Man" Johnson and great-grandfather High Chief Peter Maivia.

She will be the first fourth-generation WWE athlete.

On Monday, they reported that she entered the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, to train.

Simone said on Twitter that she was “humbled, grateful and ready to work.”

Simone looks to continue a legacy of highly rated wrestling stars in her family that dates to the 1960s, when Maivia began winning championships in the South Pacific, Hawaii and the West Coast. Maivia and Rocky Johnson have been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Her father, "The Rock," is on the same path as his predecessors. The eight-time WWE champion has been called "The Great One," "The People's Champion" and "The Most Electrifying Man in All of Entertainment," according to his biography.

Simone’s mom told her in a touching Instagram post that she will craft her own unique legacy as well.

So far, her trainers have promising things to say as Simone begins her work.

"Simone is a wonderful girl. She's like a sponge; it's pretty amazing. She knows what it takes to succeed and all the hard work and sacrifice that goes into it. I wouldn't have expected anything less." — WWE assistant head coach Sara Amato
