Corrie Gillispie, 42, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, was sentenced to 33 years in federal prison Friday on sex trafficking charges, the Times Free Press reported.

Gillispie, also known as “Bigg Tyme,” “Chattanooga Tyme” and “Profit Tyme,” was sentenced in federal court Friday on a charge of kidnapping, two counts of commercial sex trafficking, and one count each of transportation for prostitution and money laundering.

Gillispie was convicted after a seven-day trial in April 2018, The Chattanoogan reported.

According to court documents, Gillispie romantically pursued a victim and convinced her to travel to another state to meet him. After meeting, Gillispie told the victim he was a pimp. He then restrained and assaulted the victim when she attempted to leave Gillispie's vehicle, the Times Free Press reported.

The victim was held against her will by Gillispie and was forced to engage in commercial sex through threats of force, fraud and coercion, the newspaper reported.

U.S. District Court Judge Travis McDonough also added a year to Gillispie's sentence for contempt, the Times Free Press reported.
