KUWAIT --Desert South of Iraqi border - Members of Charlie Rock Company with the 3rd Infantry Division scramble to don their NBC (Nuclear, Biological, Chemical) protective suits after hearing two explosions. The explosions appeared to be two Scud missles headed for Kuwait City and a nearby military base. The missles were intercepted by U.S. Patriot's before impact.

Iraq -- Sgt 1st Class Brett Waterhouse shoots a man that attacked him with rocks while he was relieving himself. The man was killed and Waterhouse had slight injury to his hand when he blocked one of the rocks aimed at his head.
