Sunday morning starts off in the high 30s for metro Atlanta residents.

But don’t fear, that temperature will rise to a peak of 60 by the afternoon. Winds will continue throughout the day at 10 to 20 mph. However, Sunday should not be as blustery as Saturday, when gusts over 30 to 35 mph were common throughout the day.

“We’ll finish out our weekend sunny, cool and a little bit breezy but we have warmer weather on the way next week,” said Channel 2 Action News meteorologist Eboni Deon.

Temperatures will reach the 80s by Tuesday.

There will be clear, sunny skies for most of the day. Some clouds will move in by the evening but no need to panic: Rain isn’t predicted until the end of the week.
