Is it already cold enough for ice skating?

It is at the Macon Coliseum.

The venue has released its season schedule for public ice skating, which runs from this Saturday through February 2020.

So fetch those ice skates out of the garage and lace up.

Many of the skate times are in the late afternoon, from 3 to 5 p.m. or 6 to 8 p.m., and also during late-night hours from 10 to midnight. There’s even several opportunities for families to take the ice with the Macon Mayhem hockey team after their home games.

Tickets are $10 per person and $8 for active military with ID; Friday skates with the Mayhem are $5. Tickets are available for sale online the first day of each month, according the Coliseum website, and can also be purchased at the Macon Coliseum Box Office.

The Macon Coliseum is at 200 Coliseum Drive in Macon. From Atlanta, take Interstate 75 South to I-16 East to Exit 2 and turn left.
