President Donald Trump is endorsing Republican Brad Raffensperger for secretary of state in the runoff election against Democrat John Barrow.

“Brad Raffensperger will be a fantastic secretary of state for Georgia,” Trump wrote on Twitter on Monday. Raffensperger “is tough on crime and borders, loves our military and vets. He will be great for jobs!”

Early voting for the runoff began Monday, and Election Day is Dec. 4.

Raffensperger is a state representative from Johns Creek and the CEO of an engineering design company.

Barrow is a former U.S. congressman and an attorney.
