Johnny Isakson served as a Republican Georgia state representative, state senator, U.S. representative and U.S. senator. Born in Atlanta in 1944, Isakson, seen here in 2014, served in the Georgia Air National Guard and graduated from the University of Georgia before beginning his political career in 1974.
