The latest act of kindness occurred Tuesday in Nevada, where a mystery donor paid off $46,000 of layaway bills at a Walmart in Reno, the Gazette Journal reported.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Saints owner Gayle Benson paid off $100,000 of layaway bills at a Walmart in New Orleans. Last month, an anonymous person paid off an undisclosed amount of layaway bills at a Walmart in Uniondale, New York.

Similar payoffs also occurred in ColoradoPennsylvania and Vermont.

The latest set of bills were paid at a Walmart Supercenter in Reno.

"It was a shock," Patty Whitehill told the Gazette Journal. "I was getting ready to pay it (television set) off and they said somebody already paid it. Wow!"

Walmart officials did not reveal the name of the donor, the newspaper reported.

The secret Santa "just completely wishes to remain anonymous," Tara Aston, a company spokeswoman, told the Gazette Journal.

“All I can say is, she’s an angel from heaven,” Whitehill told the newspaper.
