The search for a missing Florida girl entered its second day Thursday after the Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued a nationwide Amber Alert to find her.
Jacksonville police say 5-year-old Taylor Rose Williams was missing from her bedroom when her mother, Brianna Williams, checked on her about 7:20 a.m. Wednesday. Police say the back door to the home had been unlocked.
Officials who issued the Amber Alert on Wednesday have not ruled out the possibility that Taylor could have left the residence on her own or whether she was abducted. She was last seen wearing purple and pink short-sleeved pajamas.

More than 100 police officers, firefighters and people in the community have assisted in the search so far. On Wednesday, local police and a city councilman handed out flyers and prayed for the girl’s safe return.
"We are very concerned, but we are going to search and we will continue to search ... in hopes of finding Taylor," Jacksonville Sheriff's Office Chief T.K. Waters told the local ABC affiliate First Coast News on Wednesday.
Florida Crime Stoppers also announced a $3,000 reward to anyone with information that leads to Taylor.
Anyone with information is asked to call 911, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office at 904-630-0500 or the FDLE Missing Endangered Persons Information Clearinghouse at 1-888-356-4774.
