A South Carolina man won a $200,000 lottery jackpot after playing numbers he saw on a recent TV show, according to reports.

The winner chose not to reveal his identity nor the program that he had watched, but he told South Carolina Education Lottery officials that he copied down the numbers after “I saw them on television,” CNN reported.

The man bought the winning ticket last month at a Piggly Wiggly store in Chesterfield, about 86 miles northeast of Columbia, according to UPI.

The lucky numbers drawn in the Palmetto Cash 5 game on Aug. 19 were 1, 10, 16, 17 and 18.

All five numbers matched the man’s ticket, which was good for $100,000. Even sweeter, the prize was doubled because he added a “Power-Up” option to his ticket for an extra dollar, reports said.

His odds of winning were 1 in 501,942.

After taxes, the man walked away with $138,000, and the store collected a $2,000 commission for selling the ticket.

In July, another lucky South Carolina man won a $40,000 prize and then won $3 million less than two weeks later in the Mega Millions Quick Pick game.
