Florida rapper Lil Pump shared his wide-ranging views on the 2020 presidential election, including that he supports President Donald Trump’s reelection.

The 20-year-old made the announcement on his Instagram just days after Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka said he would support the Republican on his second run for president. On Sunday, the “Gucci Gang” rapper, whose real name is Gazzy Garcia, posted a seemingly photoshopped image of himself with the president with a caption: “THE DAY I MET TRUMP #trump202022020."

Via his Instagram stories, he went on to share his Republican support and pan former Vice President Joe Biden, the president’s Democratic opponent, and his tax proposal, which would increase taxes significantly for those who make more than $400,000 per year.

“All I gotta say is Trump 2020 (expeletive). (Expletive) I look like paying 33 in taxes for Biden," he said in the video. “(Expletive) sleepy Joe.”

Waka Flocka was not as explicit in his support of the president, but he insinuated his support in an Instagram exchange last week. 50 Cent also infamously rallied behind the president, but he retracted the comments over the weekend saying he “never liked him.”

Garcia’s spirited support for Trump got lots of response Monday.

Some found issue with Lil Pump’s support, stating that endorsing Trump would be a vote against people of Latin descent. The rapper is Hispanic.

His statements received praise from fellow supporters Monday on Twitter.
