The man killed inside his east Cobb County home was identified Wednesday as Jerry L. Moore, police said.

Investigators were called to a home in the 2800 block of Gracewood Drive, off Holly Springs Road, around 6:40 p.m. Monday, according to Sgt. Dana Pierce with Cobb police.

Inside the home, police found Moore’s body, police said. The cause of death has not been released, but investigators have ruled Moore’s death a homicide. Moore was 46.
