Police said they’ve arrested a man in a January homicide at an Atlanta motel.

Richard Williams, 26, was charged Tuesday with murder in the death of Corey Robinson, 22, police said. He was taken to the Fulton County Jail.

According to police, motel custodial staff found Robinson unresponsive inside a room at the In-Town Suites on Northside Drive NW shortly after noon on Jan. 31.

There was no obvious trauma or immediate indication of what may have caused the death, police said. The death was ruled a strangulation on Feb. 1 and Robinson was identified as the victim by the Fulton County Medical Examiner.
