Sandy Springs police are looking for the driver of a car that was seen leaving a Roswell Road nightclub moments after a shooting that left a 38-year-old Brookhaven man dead.

About 2 a.m. Monday, Paul Anthony Santos was shot in a parking lot behind the Taboo 2 Bistro & Bar in the 6000 block of Roswell Road, Sandy Springs police Capt. Steve Rose said. A car left the scene just after the shooting, but police offered no description of the vehicle or the driver.

Rose said Santos was taken to North Fulton Hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. An investigator with the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution shortly after 7 a.m. that the man died at the hospital.

Police have not determined a motive for the shooting, Rose said.

“Detectives want to identify the driver as a person of interest in the shooting,” he said.
