Renovations at Glen Lake include the addition of an outdoor fireplace and grill and picnic areas plus a new clubhouse and fitness center. There's a dog park under construction, and an herb garden where neighbors can work in the garden. "But that's not me," laughed Cesareo. She enjoys the resident appreciation days and the fact there's something going on almost every weekend.

Three years ago 23-year-old Christina Cesareo moved into Glen Lake apartments with her mother. When her mom moved out the next year, Christina stayed on. The location next to Ga. 400 and I-285 made the location ideal for Cesareo who works as an office manager for a financial company. She can be at work in 10 minutes. One of the great things at Glen Lake is that there's plenty of parking, according to Cesareo.

The living room of a model unit. All units, which range in size from studios to townhomes, have been recently renovated. Cesareo appreciates the management staff and maintenance people. "They are really good about getting to you and that's really important to me," she added.

The bedroom of a model unit. The secluded location of the apartment community makes it quiet, and the gates and security cameras help residents feel secure. "Since the buildings are only two stories high you never have to worry about climbing a lot of stairs," she said, and she added that the residents there are all very considerate of their neighbors.

The one-bedroom one-bath apartment has a bonus sun room which Cesareo has turned into a dining area. She took what was the dining room space and furnished it so that it works as a guest room when needed. (Model unit photo.)
