Pamela Ballin sits at the defense table before the hearing begins. DeKalb Superior Court Judge Mark Anthony Scott presides over a hearing Thursday, July 17, 2014 to decide whether to set aside the murder jury verdict of guilty of Pamela Ballin. Ballin was convicted last month of killing her husband, Derrick "Ricky" Ballin Sr. in 2009.
