Uno debuts new 'nonpartisan' version of game just in time for the holidays

For those dreading contentious political discussions at family gatherings this holiday season, Mattel is offering a new version of a classic game to keep things fun.

Uno Nonpartisan removes the red and blue cards from the deck to avoid any association with the Republican or Democrat parties. There's also a special "veto" card that can be used to skip the turn of any player who brings up politics during the game.

A 2006 American Psychological Association survey found that 38 percent of respondents said that their stress levels increased during the holiday season.
