The federal government wants to offload a chunk of property and it could be yours for $1 million.
The General Services Administration started an online auction to sell Sugar Grove Station in Pendleton County, West Virginia, the Washington Business Journal reported.
It was the site of the former Naval Information Operations Center support base that was decommissioned on Sept. 30, 2015, the Charleston Gazette-Mail reported.
The auction, listed at realestatesales.gov, says the base has more than 122 acres with 80 single-family homes, a fire station, a day care center, a community center and pools.
So far there have been no bidders, and there's no date that the auction will close.
Before closing, the base supported 450 sailors and their families, the Charleston Gazette-Mail reported.
