Tanning ad pulled offering the 'sexy color' of Native Americans

An Alabama-based chain of tanning salons has come under fire by critics after offering a deal to get you the "sexy color" of Native Americans by Thanksgiving.

The ad from Club Sun Color Studios reads "The Indians brought more than just 'CORN' to the first Thanksgiving...they brought SEXY 'COLOR'!" A well-tanned brunette in a Native American costume is pictured along with  a promise of an "Instant, flawless sunless sprays for as low as ... $7.99!"

Club Sun's marketing director David Arnett later posted an apology saying that the ad was not meant to offend anyone. The chain also has locations in Florida.
