Holiday flooding brought various types of snakes on some lawns in Alabama.
Images of what appear to be cottonmouths and water moccasins washed up on residents' lawns in Huntsville, according to WAFF.
"We received a few photos this weekend in the hours and days following Friday's flooding of various snakes showing up," according to WAFF.
Snakes washed up after floodwaters recede are confused, but should be able to figure out where to go, according to the Humane Society of the United States. Do not try to handle a snake found in the yard, they say.
