Authorities say a teenager was planning to pack a kangaroo with explosives, paint the ISIS symbol on it, and set the animal loose among police.
NBC News reported that Sevdet Besim, 19, planned the terror attack on Anzac Day in Melbourne, Australia.
Anzac Day is a yearly commemoration of those who served and died in wars.
A prosecution summary said that Besim and another teen were discussing an attack involving animals.
"The conversation continues with Besim detailing what he did that day and they have a general discussion around animals and wildlife in Australia including a suggestion that a kangaroo could be packed with C4 explosive, painted with the [ISIS] symbol and set loose on police officers."
Anzac Day occurs April 25.
Besim plead not guilty to four charges of planning a terrorist act in court Thursday.
