A pregnant woman is in intensive care after she was struck by lightning Thursday afternoon, police said.

Meghan Davidson, 26, who was due to give birth in a week, was walking with her mother outside her home when she was struck by lightning around 4:30 p.m., according to WBBH.

Davidson was taken to the hospital and is in critical condition. Doctors delivered the baby, whose condition is not known.

Church members are coming together to support Davidson, who has two children already.

“Lord, I’m asking for healing for this mom and for this baby,” Russell Howard, lead pastor at McGregor Baptist Church, told parishioners.

Three people in the U.S. have died from lightning strikes this year, according to the News-Press. Two of those deaths  were in Florida.
