We are a month away from finding out how Thanos’ snap changed the Marvel Universe and if those who were sacrificed in “Avengers: Infinity War” ever come back.
But now fans of one of the heroes from Wakanda are reeling from finding out she didn’t survive.
Marvel Studios released a series of posters Tuesday showing those who were still left, in full color and those who dissolved into dust, shown in black and white. Both sets of images included the tagline “Avenge the Fallen.”
Fans now know that Tessa Thompson will appear in "Endgame" as Valkyrie, as will Benedict Wong as the librarian Wong, Entertainment Weekly reported.

But the shocker was Shuri, the princess who is more comfortable in a lab than a throne room, played by Letitia Wright, sadly did not. She, like her brother, Black Panther/T’Challa, were snapped out of the universe.

So it appears she won't be taking on the role of Black Panther, as some surmised, CNet reported.
This isn't the first time she's been listed among the potential victims of Thanos' desire to reshape the universe, Vox reported.
She is listed as missing in the first full trailer for the movie, released in December. But you have to be eagle-eyed to catch it, as her photo is to the side of the frame before it changes to Tom Holland’s Peter Parker/Spider-Man.
“Avengers: Endgame” will hit theaters on April 26.
