According to the Island Packet, 19 monkeys broke out of a cage at the Alpha Genesis lab about 1:30 p.m. Sunday. By Sunday evening, all of the monkeys were back on the facility's property, WSAV-TV reports.

About 5,000 monkeys live in the lab and another facility nearby, where they are bred and sold for research, the Island Packet reports
